24-Hour Punching Challenge – Chasing a Guinness World Record

24-hour punching challenge

When I land in Dubai in just three hours from now, I’ll have exactly two weeks before I take on the most physically and mentally challenging task of my life:

A 24-hour punching challenge.

If I complete it, I’ll become a Guinness World Record holder.

24-hour punching challenge

But that’s not the main reason I’m putting myself through this—months of training, hours in the gym, time away from my business.

I’m doing this to show my three little girls that extraordinary achievements aren’t just for people on TV or in books.

Anyone can do something incredible if they truly set their mind to it.

A comment popped up on a recent post:
“Well, Tony, you’re an Olympic athlete. This is easy for you.”

But the truth is, it’s not.

I wasn’t born an athlete.

Before I made it to the Olympics, I worked on a burger van, serving greasy burgers and fries.

I lost my first two fights in boxing.

I had no confidence in myself—and anyone close to me knows this.

Back then, I never thought I would do well in boxing, let alone go to the Olympics.

I’m just a normal kid from Sunderland in the UK, where big dreams feel out of reach—at least, that’s what I used to believe.

Very few people believed in me, apart from a couple of people at my local boxing gym.

Now, My kids have watched me train for this challenge.

They’ve have cheered me on when I’m hitting the bag for hours, telling me how proud they are—though, to be honest, they’d be proud of me no matter what.

That’s the beautiful thing about kids; their love is unconditional weather I do this or not.

Still, I hope that one day they’ll look back and remember how they saw their dad push through barriers and keep going when things got tough.

I want them to grow up in a world where doing something extraordinary isn’t “normal,” but it’s always within reach if you work hard and believe in yourself.

When I was their age, I collected Guinness World Records books, but it never once crossed my mind that I could actually be in there.

Now my 10-year-old, Jayde, is determined to get her name in those pages too.

I believe she will.

And even if she doesn’t—if she tries and fails—she’ll still learn a massive lesson. The same goes for me in a couple of weeks.

I believe in stepping outside of the comfort zone, showing our kids what’s possible when we refuse to give up.
After all, the BIGGEST enemy of success is comfort.

I will be doing a live stream of the full 24 hours on my YT channel which I’ll on here, but if your In Dubai the event is open to the public too… in Gym Nation Al Quoz on March 2nd which is also my 40th birthday.

I hope this inspires some people, especially my 3 little girls Jayde, Jessie & Jodie ♥
